The craziness has begun. 🙃
My school is back in full swing, cross country meets have started, and summer is quickly vanishing from my calendar. It’s sad that summer break is over, but my first week has gone pretty well!
I’ll give you a recap of some of the outfits I’ve been wearing, things I’ve been doing, and then I’ll share with you some things that have been on my mind to encourage all of you. And don’t forget the poll!

I knew I wanted to wear these converse, but it was a bit of a struggle finding a shirt to match🙃 . I also had a 5:30 practice before school, so it was kind of a crazy morning! The first day of school went well though, and my teachers/classmates are amazing!

A day at home (I only go to my school co-op some of the days of the week), so I just wore somethin’ comfy.

This shirt is soo comfy. I bought my shoes the day before because I needed something neutral to go with my outfits (guess in the comments how much they cost lol). I’m trying to be intentional with how I wear jewelry, so I tried to add that in too. I tied my shirt using this hack:

My jersey for my cross country meet! We were going to have a race Friday night, but after we rode an hour to the place, it got rained out. 🤦♀️ SO we ran the next day at a different meet instead. I PRed, but I still wasn’t really happy with my time. First meets are always rough though. And my friend did my hair and I think it looked amazing! (only hairstyle other than a ponytail that has lasted a xc race for me 😂)

Haha, I can’t really think of anything else I did this week. XD That’s basically my life right now.
But this coming week, I’m hoping to make these mozzarella sticks. Running makes me crave cheese, so I’m kind of obsessed with cheesesticks right now. 😂😂 But it’s not like weird food obsessions are new for me. Remember the time I loved almond butter? Or when all I ate for breakfast and snacks were chocolate energy balls?
Challenge
With all it’s monotony, the school year can be rough. If I have any free time, I’m challenging myself to start trying small, new things (making mozzarella sticks, tailoring my dress, etc.) instead of going on devices. I’m going to try to stick with no YouTube for the next couple weeks, so if you want to join me, we can stay accountable together! Creativity makes me happy, so I need to intentionally make time for that.

Lol Walmart. And you can tell from the quality on closer inspection. I hope to get some real vans sometime, but they work for now. 😂

I LOVE Walmart! lol They actually have some good clothing, the quality isn’t always the best, but at least it’s cheap! I’ve gotten some shoes there before that were pretty cute!

Fun post! I would love to do the break-from-YouTube challenge with you! Since I’m not on YouTube much anyway, I’m going to challenge myself to limit screen time to 1 hour/day to make it more challenging!
I’m going to guess your shoes cost $20-$25? They are super cute!
