Do you ever feel that everyone else has it all together and you don’t? Do you gloat when you feel you have more to offer than others? Do you beat yourself up when you feel less valuable than others?
If so, today’s episode will be encouraging to you.
Today, I have Nikki Neu on the podcast to talk about comparison: what it comes from, how to identify it, and how to take steps toward freedom. Mrs. Neu is a gifted speaker and mom to 7, and she filled our conversation with truth and encouragement.
Today’s Question
How do I not compare myself to other girls? It seems like everyone out there is so much prettier than me.
Resource Mentioned: “Why Her?” by Nicki Koziarz
Bible Verse Mentioned: 2 Corinthians 10:12

Cannot wait to listen to this! I have been struggling a lot lately with jealousy and comparision . I have been comparing myself to other girls and saying to myself that “I’m ugly” and that no one likes me because of all the acne I have on my face . I need to get over being in the comparision trap and asking God to help me. Sorry for the long comment😊

I hope the episode helps and encourages you. Praying for you!!

Hello, Rachel. How are you? I don’t always comment on your works. I will today, though. You’re doing a great job for God’s kingdom. I enjoy listening to your stuff; your parents must be so proud of what you’ve become and are becoming. As for this episode, I’ll share it with my nieces. God be with you & thank you for using your gift to serve others to be more Christlike. Say hello to your little sister, adorable! She made me smile last time you two did an episode. She is a great thinker!

So glad we could make you smile:) Thanks again for the comment.

Hey, Rachel. I forgot to attach a song that I found resonated well with your post, in a way. I discovered it early last year. “Dear Me,” by Nichole Nordeman. Be blessed!
