5 Cookies for December Baking

I love cookies. Plus, I live with several cookie monsters who can go through cookies quicker than anyone else I know. Because of the high demand for cookies, the Christmas giving season, and my love for baking, I’m counting down the weeks ’till Christmas break so I can go on a cookie baking marathon.

While working on essays and filling out worksheets for highschool, I’ve also had my eye out for cookie recipes for Christmas giving and eating. Not all of them are Christmas cookies per se, but they all look delicious!

Here’s what is on my list right now (other than gingerbread, of course!):

Brown Sugar + Cream Cheese Cookies

These cookies look so cute and so delicious, don’t they?! These would definitely add a pop of color to a plate of Christmas cookies!

Imagine eating a brownie with a sweet crust and a soft middle. This cookie is it. It’s basically a brownie-cookie. This one is also a great recipe to get the little siblings involved – rolling the dough in powdered sugar is a blast for little ones (just be sure to have a broom handy – it gets messy!).

These cookies always hit the spot. They are a bit like shortbread, and a bit like sugar cookies. And the chocolate tops it off perfectly (my mouth is literally watering right now thinking about it XD).

So easy, so quick, and SO good. If you bring these to a party, they’ll probably be gone within an hour.

Snickerdoodles are without-a-doubt one of my favorite cookies. I love to get my little siblings to help with these too!

Let’s Talk!

  1. Those all look so good!😉 Especially the butter cookies and the brown sugar and cream cheese ones!
Sadly,.my family has a lot of allergies, and so we probably won’t be able to make them. 😞 We recently did make Christmas cookies, though!
I made up a recipe for chocolate-peanut clusters for my dad on father’s day, and it was a lot of fun to make them!
What is your fav cookie to eat/bake?

  4. Hi Rachel! Yummy, those all look so good. My favorite cookies to bake during the holiday season is the classic chocolate chip, sugar with Christmas decor on top, and snickerdoodles. Now I’m craving cookies! 😂😋 Great post.
