Can you believe it’s that time again?! Time for new pencils, new grades, and new experiences. It’s time for school!
I always look forward to my first day of CC, and I like to dress up a little. One of the things I struggle with is finding an easy AND cute hairstyle. Today, I’m going to show you some of my go-to hairstyles. Comment below, and let me know which one is your favorite!
- Half-Up Top Knot
For more info on top knots and messy buns, go here.
Put your hair up in a half-up. Begin to make a bun. Wrap extra hair and add bobby pins. Tada!
2. The Chignon
Simple, but elegant.
Pull hair into a side ponytail. Twist the ponytail until it kinks up. Wrap it around to form a bun. Secure with an elastic. Secure with bobby pins. And you’re done!
3. Braided Crown
With this hairstyle, you can still leave your hair down!
Take a section of hair from the front. Braid the strand of hair. Repeat on the other side and bring the braids to the back of your head. Secure with an elastic and bow (if desired).
4. Braided Headband.
I learned about this hairstyle here.
Brush hair, and seperate into two portions. Braid both sides. Bring the hair over the head, and secure with bobby pins. Repeat on the other side. Pin down any bubbles, and you’re done!
5. The (Sporty) Braided Ponytail
If my hair is a big poufball, and I have to go to a sports practice, this is what I do. It’s quick, sporty, and easy.
Put hair in a ponytail. Begin to braid. …continue to braid… Secure with an elastic. See how easy that is?!
There you go! 5 super easy, super cute back-to-school hairstyles!
Let’s talk in the comments below! What do you do on the first day of school?
What a cute post, Rachel!! Out of curiosity, does CC stand for Classical Conversations? Normally on the first day of school, I don’t think about my hair. ๐ However, since my hair is getting longer, I’ve been thinking about trying some different hairstyles on my head!

Thanks, Heaven! Yes, CC does stand for Classical Conversations. I made a post about what it is. I’m homeschooled, but CC is kind of like private school once a week.
That’s cool that you are looking at different hairstyles, and I hope my post helped some:) Thanks for reading!!๐โค
